It is amazing the types of worship we see in the church today. Whether the church is prominently African American, Asian, Latino, or even Caucasian Satan's beat/rhythm has permeated the church around the globe. Satan has his beat/rhythm, Babylonian music for the purpose of causing people to worship the beast and his image.
Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, 5That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up: 6And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:4-6
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Revelation 13:15-17
Babylon's music, Satan's rhythm has crept into the church so that it will prepare the minds of people to receive the mark of the beast.
Those things which have been in the past will be in the future.
Satan will make music a snare by the way in which it is conducted. {2SM 38.1}
We have our dance teams and mimes which have nothing to do with the gospel or leading people to an intellectual knowledge of God. All this is promoting is a "feel-good-ism" religion. Sad to say if Ellen White and the early pioneers were to awake out of there graves by God just to see the God chosen and ordained Seventh Day Adventist church today they would not even recognize it. God set up the Seventh day Adventist church for the purpose of giving the "mighty clever of truth of the 1st, 2nd, and third angels messages. Found in Revelation 14. We are to be a new and distinct order of beings, unlike the world. We are to be separate. In our evangelism, education, preaching, and worship, along with music! Read what sister White about the worship taking place in Indiana:
The manner in which the meetings in Indiana have been carried on, with
noise and confusion, does not commend them to thoughtful, intelligent minds. There is nothing in these demonstrations which will convince the world that we have the truth.
Mere noise and shouting are no evidence of sanctification, or of the descent of the Holy Spirit. {2SM 35.1}
The Holy Spirit
has nothing to do with such a
confusion of noise and multitude of sounds as passed before me last January.
Satan works amid the din and confusion of such music, which, properly conducted, would be a praise and glory to God.
He makes its effect like the poison sting of the serpent. {2SM 37.5}
It is impossible to estimate too largely the work that the Lord will accomplish through His proposed vessels in carrying out His mind and purpose. The things you have described as taking place in Indiana,
the Lord has shown me would take place just before the close of probation.
Every uncouth thing will be demonstrated. There will be
shouting, with drums, music, and dancing. The senses of rational beings will
become so confused that they cannot be trusted to make right decisions. And this is called the moving of the Holy Spirit. {2SM 36.2}
The Holy Spirit never reveals itself in such methods, in such a bedlam of noise. This is an
invention of Satan to cover up his ingenious methods for making of none effect the pure, sincere, elevating, ennobling, sanctifying truth for this time. Better never have the worship of God blended with music than to use musical instruments to do the work which last January was represented to me would be brought into our camp meetings. The truth for this time needs nothing of this kind in its work of converting souls.
A bedlam of noise shocks the senses and perverts that which if conducted aright might be a blessing. The powers of satanic agencies blend with the din and noise, to have a carnival, and this is termed the Holy Spirit's working. {2SM 36.3}
No encouragement should be given to this kind of worship. The same kind of influence came in after the passing of the time in 1844. The same kind of representations were made.
Men became excited, and were worked by a power thought to be the power of God.... {2SM 37.2}
Let all things be done
decently and in order. 1 Corinthians 14:40
For God is
not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33
If God is not about disorder or confusion then who is? Thats rights friends it is Satan. God is not is apart of any uncooth worship. He is Holy and we should treat Him with reverence.Oh how often do we try to bring God down to our level. He is Holy! So when we worship Him we should do it decently and in order. No confusion. No loud noise. The music should be solemn and elevate the mind and heart to God.
He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever:
holy and reverend is his name. Psalm 111:9
Notice also in the scripture how the angels and beings in heaven worship God. What reverence they show to God in His sanctuary.
In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. 2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings;
with twain he covered his face, and with
twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. 3And one cried unto another, and
said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. 4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Isaiah 6:1-4
And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying,
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. 9And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, 10The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, 11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:8-11
Let us all rethink on how we have been worshipping God. The music of the world and the babylonian music has to go. It is not preparing people to receive the seal of God. What is the seal of God by the way?
Just as soon as the people of God are sealed in their foreheads--it is not any seal or mark that can be seen, but a
settling into the truth, both intellectually and spiritually, so they cannot be moved--just as soon as God's people are sealed and prepared for the shaking, it will come. Indeed, it has begun already. The judgments of God are now upon the land, to give us warning, that we may know what is coming.--Ms. 173, 1902, pp. 1-6.
So if the sealing is the settling into the truth both intellectual and spiritually so then the receiving the mark of the beast is the opposite. And Satan wants to prevent God people from being sealed so that they can be lost. Now is the time to truly worship God.
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7Saying with a loud voice,
Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and
worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of water. Revelation 14:6-7 "
Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23But the hour cometh, and now is, when
the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:22-24
Alot of church folks have no idea who they are worshipping, Without even realizing it they are worshipping Satan with all the bedlam of noise and confusion. But those who are true worshippers of God will worship God in spirit and in truth.
